Guide

Preyta is a mage who can wear out the enemies using his super long ranged Plague spectres and stop enemy's attacks using poison gas bombs. A terrifying part is that after all the efforts to get close to Preyta, his ultimate will grant him a shield and bonus movement speed leaving the enemy assassins in despair.

Abilities

Passive - Flying Dragon

The Plague Wyvern boosts Preytas movement speed. Together with the movement speed bonus from his ultimate, Preyta can sometimes be played as an archer and kite the enemies.

Ability 1 - Plague Spectre

Preyta charges his plague spectre for up to two seconds then unleashes it and deals magic damage for each second spent channelling. Any command while charging will unleash the spectre immediately to deal reduced damage.

In disciple of Plague State, movement is possible while charging. It is hard to hit a fully charged plague spectre when Preyta is not in disciple of the plague state. Therefore, try charging the spectre when enemies are engaged in battles in order to increase the hit rate.

Ability 2 - Poison Gas Bomb

Preyta detonates a poison bomb at the target location knocking back surrounding enemies dealing magic damage and reducing their movement speed by 50% for two seconds. In Disciple of the Plague state, the poison bomb is replaced by nether spikes and they also stun the targets for one second.

Due to the knockback effect, Poison gas bomb can be used not only to stop enemies attack but also interrupt their spells.

Ultimate - Plague Tentacles

Preyta fuses with the Wyvern spirit and enters disciple of the Plague state for ten seconds, immediately resetting the cooldown of Plague spectre and poison gas bomb and increasing the damage inflicted by his next ability.

While in this state, Preyta also receives a shield that absorbs damage while gaining 25% movement speed and 10% attack speed. His normal attack range is also significantly increased and inflicts magic damage.

Since the enhanced Plague spectre can be charged while moving, Preyta can first cast plague spectre then knock enemies into the spectre range using poison gas bomb.

Plague tentacles can reset the cooldowns on the other two skills, therefore, try using plague Spectre and poison gas bomb before casting plague tentacles in order to reset their cooldowns and immediately use the two spells again.

As a Mage, Preyta is best suited to farm in mid lane in the early game. A fully charged Plague spectre can deal remarkable damage which can be used to clear waves and harass enemies in lane. In addition, flying dragon provides Preyta bonus movement speed which is convenient for ganking and helping out the other lanes.

In the mid and late game, Preyta should be careful not to stand in the front line. Although plague tentacles provide Preyta a shield and movement speed bonus preta can still get caught and bursted down easily.

Therefore flicker is recommended for Preyta to escape the enemies before battles begin. Preyta should try to harass and poke down the opponent using his super long range.

Once battles begin, Preyta should cast plague tentacles and unload massive AoE damage using his normal attacks and skills in order to ensure an easy victory.

Lore

"Tremble, for I am the Plague, the Avatar of Pestilence."

Born from battle, Preyta lived to spread disease and pestilence. During an ancient conflict between forgotten kingdoms, bodies began to pile high. Without time for proper burials, the dead were rolled into a deep ravine to fester and decay.

Preyta was the soldier tasked with guarding this area. However, as the corpse pile grew, the perpetual rot and festering corpses grew into something more. Preyta's soul became infected, his mind warped and twisted until all that remained was a servant of the plague. Empowered by the rot, a new creature was born.

All living things were susceptible to the plague and Preyta knew just how well and quickly it could spread in time of war. Bards told tales of battlefields decimated by the purveyor of pestilence. He could appear anytime, on any battlefield, and rain down a putrid virus capable of consuming all life.

Preyta could cause even the bravest of souls to cower in fear. Drawing powerful magic from pestilence, he could obliterate any shred of willpower that his enemy could muster before infecting them with a deadly pathogen.

"He is the scourge, and he has returned to this world."
